A Profile of Matt Palentchar, Florida Lawyer

January 25, 2018

Matt Palentchar has been practicing law in Florida almost continuously since he passed that state’s bar exam in 2004. In that time, he has practiced in a number of legal areas, so he has the experience and skill to do almost anything. That said, his current law practice specializes in very specific areas that he likes above all, such as real estate, corporate transactions, probate, simple estate planning, and small business law. One thing is sure; Matt Palentchar is now is a long way from his childhood in Colonia, NJ, where he spent most of his time playing organized sports like baseball, basketball, football and soccer in sports leagues.

Following high school, Matt Palentchar earned a B.A. in political science from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and then obtained a scholarship to attend Ohio Northern University, where he earned his Juris Doctor, or law degree. That’s when he moved to Florida and passed that state’s bar exam. After he starting his legal career with a general practice law firm in Naples, Florida, he struck out on his own a year later and formed Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., P.A., the firm he ran until 2010, when a terrible illness and a few other personal issues forced him out of Florida for a time. He came back later, however and formed Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he lives now with his wife Heather and their two dogs.
